Here’s an item that may interest quite a few of you runners out there: its a free audio book called ‘Dreaming Of Deliverance‘.
The book is currently being podcasted by author ‘R.E. Chambliss’, and features a central theme of running.
Here is a description of the book’s storyline:
“Five years ago when Lindsay Paulson, a naive college student and talented distance runner, was 18, she was convicted of drug smuggling. Now, halfway through a 10-year prison sentence, she begins having what seem to be dreams, in which she leaves her cell in the night and visits another reality called Trae. Dreaming of Deliverance tells of Lindsay’s experiences both in Trae, where she finds herself among people enslaved by terrifying creatures, and in prison where she tries to make sense of what’s happening in her sleep: Is she actually escaping from prison somehow or is she losing her mind?”
As well as featuring running, the other good news is the book is being podcasted for free (though there is a facility for donations for those who wish to contribute).
So, if you would like to get this audio book, perhaps for company on your next long run, visit the podiobooks.com website and download the chapters currently posted, and receive new chapters as they are added.
