I&#8217;ll describe the current state of course (road conditions, construction work, and things to watch for on race day), and give you some of the history of &#8220;mile by mile&#8221; history of this greatest of all races.</span></p>

</strong>For the 4th time in as many years, I will be recording my running of the 113th Boston Marathon as I run this great race on Monday, April 20th. This will be my 8th consecutive Boston Marathon, and my 20th marathon road race overall. Because I did not expect to be able to run this race, I have had only 5 short weeks to prepare for it (minimal compared to my usual 16 week marathon training period). This will be a very different race for me, and anything could happen out there.</span></div>
